The accomodations were good however there are way too many people on the ship for the better activities that were done in the atrium or other common areas. The regular dining was so so . The crew and staff were terrific. Most friendly and helpful of all cruise ships I've traveled. Rooms were spotless and so was the entire ship. Everything was organized and set to perfection. Elevators were labeled for eliminating getting lost. Overall trip was wonderful!

I didn't want to provide a long drawn-out narrative on my cruise. Here were the highlights:

1) We saw one show because you needed reservations for all of the shows, one actually included a premium fee, which I had never seen before on a cruise. I found the ticketing system to be annoying and very anti-freestyle.

First time on the Dawn and I enjoyed the trip. However there were a few areas that will stick in the back of my mind. We were in cabin 10512, we met our steward upon arrival to the room. Seemed like a nice guy, however, did not turn down the cabin the first night. We asked multiple times for our robes, and only after I complained to guest services was when we received them.

Taking the Dawn from Boston to Bermuda is the easiest vacation ever. We drive less than an hour, park next to the waiting ship and hop aboard complete with our own pillows and a case of bottled water. No planes, no tours to book, no currency to exchange - so simple. This was our 5th trip.

The Trip
I am grateful for (just shy of Category 5) Hurricane Joaquin providing me with the full spectrum of experience of cruising on the open ocean.
