Taking the Dawn from Boston to Bermuda is the easiest vacation ever. We drive less than an hour, park next to the waiting ship and hop aboard complete with our own pillows and a case of bottled water. No planes, no tours to book, no currency to exchange - so simple. This was our 5th trip.

The Pros:

Checkin was swift once we got through the security line. Once on board, our cabin was ready and we headed to the Ventian for lunch.

Our cabin was looking worn and on the smaller side. The bed was a slab. The steward brought a foam pad and it really didn't help much. We both had backaches for most of the trip. I got a massage and it helped for a day - maybe that is the plan?
