Have cruised many times on the Norwegian Dawn, departing from Boston. We live in Maine and it is so easy to get to the ship by Concord Bus line. The Dawn has done a complete renovation and is beautiful. All fresh carpeting, curtains, bedding, art and paint.. Many restaurants to chose from. Love the freestyle dining, go when you want and where you want. Good lounge entertainment, jazz, ...

This is my husband and kids 3rd cruise and my 4th (2nd on NCL). We got a great deal on the Deluxe Owner's Suite (#12000). Being a family of 5, we are either forced to get 2 cabins or a larger suite (you'd think suites, being larger, would automatically sleep more but sadly, most still seem to sleep 4). Overall this was a fantastic cruise. We were very lucky, with Hurricanes Matthew and Nicole ...

Cruise to Bermuda from New York

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

WE left out of NY.. and sailed to Bermuda.. Parked at the doc.. 280 for the week.. easy park.. took elevator down to loading area.. very easy no problems at all.. Worth the cost, if you want to have your car.. You are given times to be at the doc for loading but no one followed that at all. Check in time for us was 12:30, we were there much earlier and were able to load once 12:00 came. Check in ...

This was a family cruise consisting of 19 adults and children. I enjoyed the cruise since I have never stayed in 1 island for several days. I especially would like to thank Riassa, our cabin person, she was invisible most of the time and she cleaned up beautifully. I took a liking to The Mixx bar in the evenings and had 3 wonderful bartenders, Leo, Rajeesh (sorry for the spelling) and so ...

I'm a solo traveler had a great time, we got together every night for dinner and shows And when you travel alone you have to learn to make your own fun and get out of your comfort zone and just let lose. The spa on the ship is incredible it's the best most relaxing place on the ship. If you want a quiet place with no kids no load music get the vibe package. It's a sun deck just for ...

Good service, but foods and waiters became chipper then previous years

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

I really like the Norwegian Breakaway ship. It is new, strong and safe. Me and my wife 3rd time have cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway. Service is good, but food quality and variety is going down cruise by cruise. In the Main Dinning Room (“Manhattan”), the Manager (Alina) is very good, but waiters were not the best. They make service first to visitors, who ordered wine. First evening ...

It was an interesting story. In general we prefer carnival for the Grand appearance of the ships from the atriums, theaters, pools decks and the overall "fun ships" We ended up getting the last room on the Breakaway the night before it sailed due to the hurricane down south and our Carnival Cruise being diverted. Overall the Breakaway was a good time and my twin boys had a great time. The ...

Back to Back - Canada & Bermuda

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

We did BTB cruises, Canada, then Bermuda. We had sailed on the Dawn before she was refurbished, and she's definitely been spruced up! They've added a Mexican restaurant that opened July 1, and it's gaining in popularity. We ate there 3 times! The crew is what makes the cruise, and the Dawn's crew was attentive to our needs and met our expectations! They were easy to talk to and offered ...

Breakaway is a great ship, when the problems are corrected.

The Breakaway is a big, beautiful ship, sparkling clean. To start with the cons, embarkation was a nightmare. This was my 16th cruise and I have never had an embarkation take so long. This was Norwegian's first 4,000 passenger ship and I don' think they know how to handle so many people. We were in a snake line that took forever to move even a little bit. It was close to an hour once we got in line ...

Great Family Vacation... with few improvement opportunities

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

This was our second cruise on the Breakaway. We enjoyed our cruise and so did the kids. The food is good but I will be honest not amazing, I think it goes by quantity not quality. We ate at some of the specialty restaurants and the meals were very good. We traveled with two of our kids and they enjoyed their time on the ship. The splash academy does a great job with the kids by keeping them ...
