We got to bid for an upgraded room and we got switch over to The Haven section and got a fabulous Aft Facing Forward Penthouse Suite # 9706. The room was fantastic. As you walk in you have a dining table with 3 chairs and then a couch and chair lounging area. Next to that was a balcony, a bit ackward with a steel bin on the left-but that just gave us more privacy. We had a real king size bed in another room with a porthole window. But we were on the 9th deck so the view from the bedroom window wasn't great at all...but we didn't care because it's not as if you can sit in your bedroom and look out the window, especially when you have a balcony. The bathroom was a 5 star. Huge jet tub, separate shower with a sit down area, separate toilet to do your business and 2 sinks with a large counter. Read Less

We were really happy with the room. It cost less than the Havens Courtyard Balcony rooms, but provided a lot more space with a separate living room/dining room area, bed room, and master bathroom. There was a tremendous amount of storage in the room. Two walls of closets, huge drawer space and cabinets under the forward facing porthole, and cabinets in the living room. Deck 10 is high enough to see over the bow of the ship (probably would have been better to be at least one deck higher). On the evening we left Tortola, there was an emergency evacuation of an ill patient. At 2:00 am, the crew prepared for and supported an U.S. Coast Guard helicopter airlift of a passenger and his wife. The crew was well prepared and rehearsed. The crew prepared the airlift point on the bow and fire crews setup fire hoses and extinguishers in the event of a helicopter crash. Too much excitement as we watched it unfold just outside our window. The bathroom had a separate toilet, rainfall shower, and large soaking tub. There were twin vessel basins and a small dressing table. Lots of counter space, well lit, with lots of mirrors. The living room had a small coffee bar area. The Escape has switched to the [cheaper] Nespresso machine with espresso, regular coffee, and decaf pods. There were an assortment of teas. Our butler kept a full set of dishes and silverware in the bar along with a full set of glassware. The living room felt a little small, but provided a separate space to sit and relax and a large flat screen TV. Read Less

Beautiful, spacious room with lots of storage space. Bathroom was large with double sinks and a makeup table with lighted mirror. The oval-shaped bowl sinks were awkward and messy but fit the tight space. The bed and bedding were luxurious. The balcony was very small and had an obstructed view (unexpected) since it was directly beneath the captain's bridge overhang. Service by butler was outstanding and afternoon snacks were welcome after days in port. Loved the Espresso machine in-room! Thank You Read Less

Our cabin, 13106, category H7, forward penthouse, was can accessible cabin. It was HUGE, as was the bath which was one of the best accessible setups I have ever seen. The only downside to the cabin was the tiny, very tiny balcony. The balcony is on the port side of the ship, and there is an enormous window/porthole over the bathtub that faces the bow. There is sufficient, easy to access storage in the cabin. The only thing we did not like about our suite was that LavAzza espresso machines have been replaced by horrid, cheap little Nespresso machines that are a pain to use. Our cabin steward, Gleeson was among the best we have ever had on NCL, and our butler, Maria was fantastic! They both gladly went above and beyond the call of duty to meet our every need, and they did so with a smile and a cheerful attitude. Read Less
