14 Days Below Deck

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

To be fair we chose this cruise for the itinerary…not the ship. However, the ship was a big disappointment. The upper decks were closed for the vast majority of the cruise and there were no accommodations made even though there were 4000 people jammed in the lower decks. They have 3 main restaurants and they were almost never open at the same time. We utilized the “pay’ restaurants 6 times and ...

An Amazing Voyage

The price was unbelievable for a 12 day cruise. There was an issue at the terminal in NY to get on to the ship but once that was settled we moved along quickly. The service was excellent, the specialty restaurants were great but there really were a lot of people and it took a long time to get back on the ship in ports. It was a bumpy crossing over the Atlantic but I love the rocking and slept ...

This was my second trip on the Breakaway...I forgot why I didn't like it the first time and this was a transatlantic, going where I wanted to go...so I booked. Many people had trouble arriving as it was listed as leaving at 4:p.m. it was still in port after 7:00 I met people who were told by air lines they could not make the connection and ended up flying to Punta Delgada in the Azores missing 5 ...

My husband and I are retired and decided a Transatlantic cruise was on our bucket list. When we saw the price of this repositioning cruise, we couldn't resist! We didn't know what we were in for! When booking, I accidentally chose the dining package and free internet as my free package instead of the beverage package and free internet.  When I tried to change, I was told I could only change ...

WE chose this cruise because we wanted a repositioning cruise and did NOT want to go to Florida. We also wanted to end up in England. NCL was the only one we found sailing from New York. Looked like good value for our money. VERY disappointed by the EMBARKATION process ... STANDING in line in the pier warehouse for an hour and a half. VERY disappointed on the RE-EMBARKATION process at the ...

My first transatlantic cruise got off to a rocky start due to delayed embarkation in NY. Waiting for hours to board was not a good way to begin this trip. Once on board, I had lunch at Savor which was very nice, avoiding the mayhem at the buffet. I purchased the Thermal Spa Pass for the entire cruise hoping to find a bit of quiet relaxation. None was to be found there since there were so many ...

We arrived on time and then had to wait 3 hours before we could check in. Electrical plugs did not work in cabin. Took me a day and three staff members that could not plug into the sockets to finally get an electrician, who after considerable effort was able to angle the plug downward, prey up ward and jam it in, said, (if it is even possible for anyone to believe this), "All the plug ins on ...

Trans Atlantic cruse on a top rated cures line NCL The Staff did their best to make this a memorable cruse. top notches to our Butler and the cleaning staff. the food was fantastic in all the restaurants we visited. the staff in the Haven went above and beyond the call of duty. if i had any complaints at all it would only be that the Shore Excursions were to short and rushed. it would have ...

We choose this cruise because it was a good vacation buy and an easy way to get to Europe. Our stateroom was very nice.t Was on the 12th floor and had a balcony. We did not think we would use the balcony as much we did. Our stateroom attendant was very attentive to our needs. The ship was going in for dry dock following our cruise and definitely needed it, as the carpeting and other things ...
