"The night before the end of the cruise we found out our "selfie tour" excursion booked through Royal was canceled but good news, we'll get 15% off any other excursion we picked...Royal couldn't figure out how to number the days and they had Sunday (1st day of cruise now) listed as Saturday and we heard lots of people asking what day they meant to get the schedule of events...."Read More

1-10 of 93 Miami to the Western Caribbean Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas Cruise Reviews
Background- this was about our 15th cruise on Royal and we are diamond level. It was a husband, wife and 21 yr old daughter cruise. There were lots of disappointments as well as some good times. We are not snobs but we paid a lot of money for this cruise and it wasn't all what we remembered cruising to be like. Overall, any cruise is a good cruise and you have to roll with the punches which we ...
First we love Royal and we have sailed many other cruise lines. To level set, we booked a two-story crown loft suite on the 17th floor, it comes with a double story family room and the bedroom is upstairs. The best part of the room is two full bathrooms, one downstairs with a standing shower and the second upstairs with a bathtub shower combo. Because the room is tall but not wide, the deck is ...
This was our first cruise. We chose Royal Caribbean Symphony of the seas because we heard that it was at the top of the list for family oriented vacations and it definitely exceeded all expectations in my opinion. The beauty of the ship itself is enough to leave you standing in awe, but when we were welcomed by every...I mean every staff member with the warmest welcome and hospitality that is ...
We chose this cruise because it was supposed to be this amazing experience but we did have a lot of trouble with a big group in my opinion royal Caribbean does not handle big groups very well Especially if it’s a mixed group of handicapped, elderly, and minors from 6 months-17. We had a group of 11 and we were celebrating five generations. This was a very expensive trip for me I worked Tons of ...
Symphony of the Seas~Western Caribbean
January 29-February 5, 2022
Hubby had seen a video of this ship on YouTube in 2020 and was hooked. The whole purpose of this cruise was to experience Symphony. The last RCI ship we were on was Vision OTS for a Baltic cruise. We had never been on an Oasis class vessel. This was our 16th cruise and we had been to all the islands except Honduras ...
Having cruised on Oasis, Allure and Harmony I was eager to finally get to sail onboard Symphony of the Seas. I had purchased the at home test kits as a back up, just in case our two tests at Walgreens and CVS didn't come back in time. I am so happy I did because neither came back until one and two days after we had sailed. I would not recommend CVS or Walgreen's right now, we were even told at ...
Let me start by saying the entire cruise was great- even with having to wear face masks inside. I felt like they were trying their best to keep everything clean. They were even washing the walls regularly!
But the initial boarding at the pier... It was absolute chaos. If you have The Key then this won't apply to you- you have your own entrance clearly marked.
By some fluke I managed to ...
Pros

I have sailed multiple time with Royal. First Cruise since Covid. Concerned to say the least. RCCL, again showed why they are on top of their game. Safety, safety and safety were number one. They were always the "clean cruise line" with hand washing and gel stations, but they upped their game. They had extra personnel handling common use areas, drink machines, ice cream machines, buffets etc. ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary (Cozumel, Honduras, Costa Maya and Coco Cay). We had no idea what a beautiful ship we would be on. We did the ROyal up, with a minimum bid and "won" a suite. It was incredible. Amazing bathroom and balcony. The "living room" was tiny adn there were only two of us so we really didnt use it. The Lavazza coffee machine was amazing. (like amazing!)
