We did a seven-night western Caribbean sailing in November 2022 to Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatan, and Coco Cay. Nearly everything was perfect. It was a clean, beautiful humongous ship. The food was great, we enjoyed the Main Dinning room a lot, and Sorrentos pizza and El Loco Fresh were really good. The five main shows were awesome, Hairspray, Flight, Hiro, and the two ice shows, are all must-sees. The Jazz on 4 quartet was fantastic. Service was universally friendly and helpful. You just can't go wrong with this choice. It is so big, with so much to do, and everything is done at such a competent level that it will be a great vacation for most people.

The stops were great if you paid for an excursion. If not, these ports are essentially pointless. I don't enjoy Diamonds International shopping etc., and other than that, you quickly get into depressed areas. We did the excursions to the Chaccoben pyramids and the Taybana Beach Break, which were both expensive but great. At Cozumel, we tried just walking around, which was boring. So, my advice is to either book an excursion or stay on the ship. Coco Cay is paradise, and we actually did have a perfect day.

The only issues were the music being limited to either Latin at Boleros or jazz at Jazz on 4 at night. It would have been nicer to have other types of music, although they did do a disco night and a club called Red in the ice rink. Some dishes in the Main Dining room were baffling, such as the pecan pie or fried calamari. It seems like they were made by people who had never actually eaten or seen these before. We didn't think the comedians were funny, but other people seemed to like them. But overall, just about perfect.
