Chose the Epic because of it's newness and size.
The on board process was excellent.
That ends the good part of the cruise.
First night - Kids running up and down hallways. On top of our state room and on each side.
Same pattern most nights.
It is ridiculous for families with kids and adults traveling without kids. Complained to NCL personnel . Kept hearing we will take care ...
Okay so this was my first cruise and i was really excited about it. When we got to our room it was the wrong kind of room and not what we had reserved which was a mini suite. This was the first issue. We called guest services and the man barely spoke English and I told him I work at a hotel I know how these things work and the fact that we were put into this room without a warning ahead of time ...
I just returned from a cruise on the NCL Epic that departed Miami on December 7th.
Previously I had cruised with RC and Carnival.
I was quite happy with the entire experience. I absolutely loved my balcony cabin. The solo lounge experience for solo travellers is great. Even though I wasn't staying in the solo cabins, I was travelling solo. I met some really great people that I spent time ...
I’ve cruised about 15 times. This was my first NCL cruise and my last. It was my 20 yr old 3rd cousin’s first cruise and she has sworn off cruises thanks to the Epic. It was my 1st cousin’s 2nd cruise with NCL and though she has not sworn off cruises, NCL is no longer on her list.
Entertainment:
The free shows Blue Man Group and Legends in Concert are fine and very well done. The Epic Theatre is ...
Just finished a 7 day cruise on the Epic with 15 friends and family. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the stability of the ship was great!! This was our 8th cruise and we have been on various cruise lines, so I was super excited to go on an NCL cruise and be on a big ship!!
The embarkation process was flawless, from the people to the boarding process!! It's when we got on the ship that the ...
My wife and I sailed from Miami on the Epic to Phillipsburg, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas. This was our first time on the Epic. Previously, we have sailed on the Dawn, Jewel, Pearl, Star and Breakaway. As a one off ship for NCL, the Epic is a little different from all of the above ships.
Although a large ship, we found it easy to get around the decks. We had a mini-suite on the eight floor ...
We just came back from our 1 week trip with the Epic from Dec 7th to Dec 14th. We were on the Norwegian Pearl in Dec 2011 which was a great trip and we were hooked on Cruising so we had high expectation for the Norwegian Epic. On the Epic, we stayed in the Mini Suite and had a balcony on Deck 12, which gave me excellent opportunities to take many great photos of the Ports. Unfortunately this ship ...
Would not recommend this cruise to anyone. Went on the ship with a group of 56. All of us had the same experience so it did not VARY at all in terms of quality, service or expectations. We had first time cruisers and experienced cruisers and all felt the same disappointment. I have extremely low expectation and am very easy to please, but this cruise couldn't even cut it. Having cruised on NCL, ...
My initial interest in this cruise was in seeing the Blue man group, and trying out the "mega" ship experience. I read many of the reviews on Cruise critic. There were A LOT of pro's and con's, but the overriding thought that was expressed was a cruise was like anything else in life, it is what you make it.
We arrived to the terminal early, before 11AM. We were checked in, were issued our room ...
I don't understand all the negative reviews about the Norwegian Epic. Sometimes when you read them and compare it to others, it's like they were on two separate boats !!!! " I had to wait for elevators "........" I had to wait in lines "......."My Internet didn't work at 4G speeds"...."I didn't like my toilet or shower"......" there was too many kids and the music was loud"...I suggest these ...
