1. The ship was over packed every turn every where every single time at the elevator it was horribly congested and uncomfortable and people were complaining in the elevators
2. Never used the adult pool once since it was over crowded every day all day
3. No night club accept for a bar in the middle of the smoke fest cacsino which is not a night club
4. Boring everything was booked for all ...
Horrible! This was my first cruise ever. After this experience, it is now my mission to tell my friends, family, associates, and just anyone mentioning a cruise to never use this cruise line. The price that they charge vs what you get in return is definitely a grift. I was on the Freedom of the Seas and paid for the stateroom the only thing that was good was the ocean and that is because they do ...
Went on a post first year of college done cruise with my daughter and mom. Looking forward to the adult experience but the experience fell horribly short. Not sure why Virgin is getting all these awards. I’ll keep it simple, the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good
Solo cabins, no double occupancy penalty! This is one reason why I want Virgin to become a disrupter in the industry.

We thought this Cruise would be a good opportunity to try out NCL on a bit smaller of a ship. We liked that it was a 10 days and had lots of ports. Embarkation was easy & fairly quick. We tried to bring our luggage on by ourselves but were told three times we couldn't because of the size. Our two bags were not oversized. WTH? Then upon entering the terminal we saw several people with the same ...
Wanted to love VV, but this cruise line is not "luxury". I've been on Princess and Celebrity cruises, those were far more luxurious for a slightly cheaper price than Virgin. The food on VV was worse (cold, slow to come out, stale), the entertainment was not existent (especially during the day), and the "rockstar" perks were flashy but didn't add much benefit to our cruise. The private pool area ...
I genuinely loved the food and entertainment, but nothing will get me back on this cruise line because of how terrible the service and logistical operations were, never mind how confusing the boat design was.
Examples:
1. There was a hair in our room service and besides apologizing, they offered nothing.
2. There was no logistical support for excursions. It’s very much find your own way ...
We booked our Memorial Days cruise back in Feb- for a total of 12 people. We were sold on the Adults only, gourmet food, and luxury experience. We definitely fell for the tricks as that was not delivered. In addition to the mediocre delivery, we had a “unique” accident on board, that was handled poorly. I’ll go into detail below:
Pros
• No Children- definitely the biggest selling point- as ...
Having previously enjoyed a cruise on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, I was disheartened to witness a noticeable decline in food and service quality within just one year. The once-great offerings were replaced by cheaper alternatives and smaller portions, leaving a dissatisfying impression.
One of the main frustrations was the malfunctioning app, which made it challenging to make dining ...
My husband and I went on a Virgin voyages cruise in October on the Valiant Lady and had a near perfect experience. Because our original booking was postponed because of the Resilient Lady delay in launching we were provided a 200% refund due to inconvenience.
When we rebooked our first trip it took over a month to get our account resolved. Virgin Voyages was not prepared for the whiplash this ...
If you want to go on vacation to be annoyed and wait in line, then this is the ship for you! We choose this particular cruise due to itinerary (only repeat for was St. Thomas), and that it happened to work out with when we could take vacation time together. Granted, I haven't sailed NCL since the Norway (we have sailed others), but we also never, ever sail them again.
Starting with ...
