Prima curse

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Norwegian Prima

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary however I was very disappointed with the ship and its crew. The solo cabin was not clean. Guest Services did not listen and only changed the time of the cleaning Fortunately I came across a Supervisor of housekeeping and she cleaned the cabin herself. The message is to identify all supervisors and complain early and often. The food frequently was ...

Enjoy NCL overall, but Prima is not the ship for me

My review would actually be a 3.5. I wanted to love the Prima. At first glance, it's a really pretty ship, very different from the other NCL ships ( in the last 12 months, I've sailed on Jade, Breakaway and Joy). Contemporary, fresh and bright. Staterooms were nice, large and great storage. On paper had a lot of great venues, Waterfront, go-cart, drop slides. But unfortunately I won't ...

Question: Would I ever cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines again? I gave my son a cruise to Iceland, Norway, Belgium and Amsterdam as a graduation gift. I booked with NCL because I thought that some of the fellow passengers would be younger (30 to 45). I was wrong. The deal that was offered to us included free drinks, including liquor priced at under $13. I really do not drink that much, ...

A Wonderful Experience on the NCL Prima in Northern Europe! Our family of three sailed on the Prima Sept. 7 through 17 from Reykjavik Iceland to Southampton in a balcony cabin, mid-ship, deck 15...great location. We had originally booked an inside cabin because of the lower price, but upgraded since we love sitting on a balcony and seeing the world go by. We all agreed it was worth it. The ...

Good news: 10 day cruise; Iceland, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium. Balcony on starboard mid ships, 10th deck. As one would expect - nice, clean, new. Bath was roomy for a cruise ship and the shower was LARGE. Water pressure barely ok. A/C fine. be fine. Don't expect big beside table on one side. Bed is a mite higher so large lugguge WILL fit underneath bed. If you are a magnet user (extra ...

First learned of this cruise (or rather, expedition) on Travelzoo. Heretofore I was not particularly aware of this type of voyage, but we became intrigued with the concept and the itinerary. I am in my seventies and after some discussion we came to the conclusion that if we were interested in this type of voyage, now was the time to give it a try. We are so glad that we did! First, the S H Vega ...

What an amazing trip this was. It was well organized from start to finish. After we made our way to Iceland, they met us at the airport, took us to the hotel for an overnight stay before starting our advanture. They even offer free shuttle to Reykjavik so we can see the city centre. The next day, we were all picked up to the airport and hope on the charter plan to Greenland. We had the whole ...

We loved everything about this cruise. The expedition staff were skilled and kind, the staff was welcoming and the service was exemplary. The expeditions were well planned and exciting. We especially enjoyed the history and the hikes. We felt well taken care of in all aspects of the cruising. We were able to successfully participate in every expedition. The weather cooperated and it was sunny ...

We booked this cruise at the very last minute and finding only a handful of reviews wondered if it was legit. As we discovered once we arrived in Reykjavik, Swan Hellenic had everything well orchestrated. From the hotel the day we arrived to the transfers to our charter flight to Greenland where we met the Vega. The Vega is simply lovely and it seems intimate with only a 152 passenger capacity. ...
