Barcelona was a gorgeous city and the people very friendly. I would recommend getting an apartment on AirBnB if you are traveling with more than 2 people. Definitely see the Gaudi buildings and browse along the Barceloneta for some kitschy souvenirs. Mostly, just walk around and enjoy the food and sites.
