Kalgan Queen Scenic Cruises From the outset Jack introduces you to "Perch the Pelican" and before you leave you may get to see the huge Stingrays that frequent Oyster harbour. Once on our way pelicans follow the boat and Jack whistles for the Sea Eagle and when it is spotted he throws out a fish and its a competition between the Sea Eagle and the pelicans to who gets it first. The eagle wins and carries the fish away. The Osprey appear and they are a bit slower than the pelicans so Jack has to find a quieter place with no pelicans to throw the fish out for the Osprey. You witness them swooping on the fish and carrying it away. The highlight is when Jack holds his hand out of the moving boat and a Pelican comes along side and takes a fish out of his hands. You then move into the Kalgan River which is calmer and has a natural untouched beauty. Jack gives a run down of the History of Albany and Kalgan area and we see some Massive Osprey Nests. Near Honeymoon Island Jack accounts the story why its called Honeymoon Island and also we see a Very rare Giant Kingfisher Bird. Once we have turned for the journey back Jack feeds us with his Mums special Damper and Coffee or Tea. We have a brief stop at Kalgan River Caravan Park to see the Kangaroos and have a Toilet Stop. We then make our way back to the Pier. 4 Hours of a fabulous trip. Thank you Jack Read Less

I researched pre-trip and found that the Busy Blue Bus was going to offer at least one small bus trip to the Natural Gap, which interested me. The price and time worked for me, so that's what I did. It was fun and worthwhile - spent time at a windmill farm, got to see some wonderful landscapes not far from Albany, and would recommend this tour to just about anyone, unless you can only walk short distances, as there was a decent amount of walking, and occasionally scrambling around! Probably confusing what came where by this time! Perhaps this is where the Natural Bridge was viewed. Anyway, I’m sure that the Wind Farm is here. While I’m not crazy about viewing windmills, the gentle hike along the top of the ... Read More

Anzac Museum is a must. Cabs are a bit of a problem and public transport doesn’t go there. Hop on hop off bus stops there but at $40 per person + $20 entry fee it can be expensive for a group

ANZAC center was really nice. Didn’t need to do ship excursion, could have gotten there from city without any problems. Again tour went from 11:30 to 3:30 and there was no lunch.
