We recently returned from our first cruise aboard the Carnival Sensation, we had the most amazing time! We booked this cruise in April using the early saver rate. We ended up with $255 OBC for 3 rooms using the Early Saver Rate, we were very pleased!

We traveled with a total of 8 people - 4 adults, 4 teenage boys. We drove from Southwest Ohio heading down the day before. We stayed in Melbourne FL at La Quinta Inn and Suites. The hotel was about 20 minutes from port, but was cheap and clean and right next to Wal-mart for our precruise purchases.

We decided to use Park N Cruise to save a little money, especially since we were driving 2 cars. Park N Cruise was fast and efficient. We pulled up, paid our $37, parked and within 5 minutes were at the port. I had read that Port Canaveral porters were salaried, but our porter did ask for a tip. I tipped her $1 per bag and we headed into the terminal. My sister and I both had a carry on containing 12 waters, 12 sodas, 1 bottle of wine. The screeners did not open the carry ons or ask us anything at all, just sent us up the esclator.

We were originally worried about hallway noise being so close to the elevators, but we loved this location! We never heard anything from the hall, and loved stepping right off the elevator to our room.
