This is our 3rd cruise (2nd with RRCL) and all 3 have been very different. I'll try and give you a run-down of our thoughts and experiences, as I read many reviews before our cruise, and find them interesting and helpful.

(Day 1) Embarkation in Civitavecchia, Rome was painless, even though I was busting out of my skin and just dying to check out our (my) ship!!! We are Crown and Anchor members, but I didn't think our check-in was any faster than anyone else's. The staff member was very pleasant, polite and helpful. We had our boarding photo taken and were on the ship in no time.

I knew quite well where our cabin was, and marched off to the aft of the ship with husband in tow. Our cabin was 9690 and I was very keen to check it out. Well, we were NOT disappointed!!!! I had also pre-purchased some choccy covered strawberries and these were waiting in our stateroom.
