We started with a day early in New York. Great place to stay: Marriott at LaGuardia. Right across airport via sidewalk or hotel shuttle. Easy to get to Manhattan via concierge ($50.00) or as we did on our return, by way of bus and subway....easy! Toured the city with Grayline tour in Times Square.

Very easy process to board. The Caribbean Princess was great. I had expected crowds with the size of this ship, especially during dining, but everything was great. We love anytime dining for dinner, buffet for breakfasts.. Loved their specials in Caribe Courst. I was surprised the ship did not have any swimming area enclosed, but with the itinerary, little time (one day at sea) anyway. The production shows good, good comedian, only one act was not interesting to me. The disembarkation well very well. We had plenty of time to sit at the airport, and got lucky enough to get bumped for a free flight.

Ports: Newport was way too short. Liked the Elms mansion. Booked the Back Scene Tour of the Elms very much. I booked that portion ($15.00) online since it fills up early. Easy to get to mansion and purchased the house tour. We only had time for the two since the town was crazy with people and we had an early departure.

Cabin Review

Cabin FF

We had an obstructed view...R748 only one of four at the farthest rear of the ship. We had two portholes with no obstruction of the ocean behind us. It is rather far from the middle/major elevators and since we had rough seas the last day, felt it was worse where we were than possibly elsewhere on the ship.
