My husband and I celebrated 20 years of marriage, and I graduated with my Masters degree. We planned to go with another couple. Long story short, we ended up with an interior room instead of a balcony as our friends were in and were very disappointed. Even worse, we paid the same amount, and their room FAR outdid ours. I would never be ok with an interior cabin again. Our cabin was so small my husband barely fit in the shower, and the room was cramped. I had been looking forward to the trip for months, only to be disappointed. Everything else was great, but the room situation really killed my excitement. We enjoyed the main dining and wind jammer food without complaints about the drink package. We loved the other 4 people seated at our table for the main dining. The service was incredible and friendly, including our cabin steward, but the room was heartbreaking.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

We chose this cruise because we had very specific dates we could cruise. Costa Maya was not a favorite spot, and although the excursion was good, the town itself was lacking. We took the bus to the ruins, then the lagoon, and although both were nice, we were rushed along. We probably would stay near the port or on the ship if we had to return to Costa Maya.

Cozumel

We loved the Monster Jeep tour through Explora. Our guides Tony and Luis were awesome. We snorkeled and visited the lighthouse and some ruins and a beach place for lunch and tequila tasting.
