We were excited about this cruise, going round southern island. The embarkation was slow.

We had been on Sky Princess in April which was fabulous so we were comparing both ships, and no comparison. My first food experience on board was lunch, a Caesar salad, at a small restaurant on 8th floor, which consisted of a bowel of lettuce leaves with no dressing and 2 small pieces of chicken. The service was terrible and the server ‘surly’ and unhelpful. The cruise continued in this genre. The food was mediocre and often served cold especially in the buffet which was chaotic with shortages of seats.

There were many tenders in each port which was often slow, chaotic, uncomfortable and with limited communication.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

10 th floor midship. Good location. Small balcony cabin considering we had been upgraded. Outdated furnishings. Tiny bathroom, especially the toilet area. Service was good but no turndown servicing as on previous ships though that wasn’t an issue with us this time.
