Free at sea, cannot compensate for bad service and a bad ship.

Chose the ship to revisit the Mediterranean. Big mistake. Hair in the food on embarkation lunch. Hair in the food in the main dining room. Ship is very old with tattered carpet and chairs in the theater. If this is a refurbished ship, it needs to be retired. Boring cruise, Director with little to no interaction with us on the ship. Entertainment venues were mediocre at best. One night they just showed a movie in the theater. You’ve got to be kidding! We used to like Norwegian, because the free at sea compensated for some of the disadvantages. However, it is no longer a good value. We’ve also noticed that the clientele on the ship, and other Norwegians tends to be loud and drunk. The tours were not rated correctly. One of the tours was a hike and resulted in injury of one of the patrons. It was rated a two when it should’ve been rated a five. Tour desk was never open so we couldn’t complain. We ended up complaining to the General manager, who acknowledged our complaint. Norwegian cruise lines is showing that it’s straining to keep things going. Back to celebrity. I hope it’s better.
