Me and my wife chose Norwegian for the length of the cruise and the airfare special they offer 2nd person flys for free but this offer was a nightmare we wanted to fly in day before but we were talked out of it and guaranteed to arrive on time Norwegian will get your on the boat no matter what etc etc so we we let them take care of everything well United airline delayed our flight one hour for crew to rest 6am to 7am. This caused a problem with connecting flight etc no flight could be found to get us to Orlando in time we called Norwegian who does not answer calls till 8 am so we missed our boat had to schedule a flight to Dominican Republic to catch boat I know this is really out of Norwegians control but I would recommend anyone to book for the day before But our return flight was wrong which was Norwegians fault we had our printed docs from Norwegian but Delta did not have us on the flight. they put us on ,but we were separated .

as for the cruise this is our 2nd cruise last year we did Princess cruise line loved it so for this cruise we planned and saved for close to a year excursions specialty dining drink package pre paid gratuities everything we could do to have a great time. we lost a evening getting on ship one day at sea and our day at Dominican Republic. We flew into Dominican Republic which was our day at sea got a room stayed the night got to cruise line at9:30 am couldn’t get onto ship till about 1 due to customs etc . So we were finally on boat we went to customer service checked in checked all dinner reservations checked show reservation checked excursions all was good went to room hot and stuffy turned on air unpacked went to eat explore come back room was hot again thermostat does not maintain a cool temp auto shut off? Others on boat complained also about warm rooms so when sleeping or hanging out to relax and watch tv you had to keep messing with t-stat turning it on.the boat was nice but was laid out odd and not user friendly pool area was cramped not enough chairs ,at night chairs and a pool area closed early on Princess we could sit under stars watch a movie have a slice of pizza popcorn drinks was nice .

the food was always barely warm and not all that good by the time you walked the length of food line and find a seat food was cold ,again layout of food not user friendly. Ice cream was always soft and mushy desserts dry and pizza only in food line and plain tasting. entertainment was great ,workers were great we tipped even with plan we purchased covered tips they deserve it great people and so friendly.we went to a reserved show did not show resevation got in anyway next morning customer service said all reservations were good they gave us a print out with his signature in case it happened again I noticed always people lined up at customer service close to 4 thousand people on ship so I guess that’s normal.
