We chose this cruise by date only, as we were celebrating my 60th birthday. We are most loyal to Princess with the caveat that cruising has changed since the pandemic started.

Embarkation was mostly quick and easy. We were blue lane, but it was short--we were second in line. The rep didn't seem too familiar with the program and struggled to enter the information in the system (it was literally our credit card number that showed in the app, but didn't take for some reason). It was still under 10 minutes and we were on the way.

Boarding was quick with no line. We went to our cabin and Nonito was still getting it ready. We dropped our carry-ons and went to get a drink and explore the ship. We've been on Regal before, so most of it was familiar.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We had a standard balcony cabin. It was near the central elevators and not too far from the laundry. Our only issue was the temperature control. We couldn't get it to go below 75--which is too hot for either of us to sleep.
