Traveled with children

We sailed on the Meraviglia for their three-day overnight cruise at Ocean Cay. Our sailings are usually much longer, but this was for our 9-year-old granddaughter. We’ve been on these shorter cruises before, and this one was a spring break booze cruise on steroids because of St. Patrick’s Day. And there were LOTS of kids. No big surprises, and not our sort of cruise.

Positives:

Like everyone says: the ship is lovely, clean, and well cared for. The ceiling shows on the promenade were entertaining.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony (partial view)

Comfortable bed and pillows. Cramped and little storage.

Port Reviews

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve

Very pleasant. Be sure to wear beach shoes as some have reported cuts and stepping on a rusty nail. The island was an industrial site before. Get to the buffet early as the crowds can turn your lunch into a 60 min wait.
