First let me say I’m a seasoned cruiser and most of my trips have been with Princess (although I have sailed with one of their sister lines, HAL. I sailed on the Regal (15-day) transatlantic at the end of 2021 so this is my comparison cruise on Regal. I had been touting cruising for years to a friend who’s never cruised. This was her first experience (unfortunately).

The first thing I noticed were the lines at dinner time. Even though we had reservations for our complete trip we had to stand in line, one night it was over 1/2 hour. Then service was not comparable to my first cruise on the Regal. On our third night I talked to the restaurant manager and his assistant and their suggestion made our dining for the remainder of our trip nice. With one exception, the menu selection was VERY limited. I always enjoyed “Princess Favorites” for entrees but that has now been eliminated. Oh, the Chef decided to make a Caesar Salad with Kale! That was a first

Upon returning to our cabin, there’s no turndown chocolates. To Princess management, it’s the little things that add up!

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Our balcony cabin was really nice and clean, our steward was pleasant and greeted us every time.
