Review for the Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We booked our first post covid19 cruise on the NCL Getaway for 12 nights out of New York City departure on 1-20-23. Booking through Priceline we enjoyed tips included and $300.00 onboard credit, cashed out in casino.

Balcony deck 13 aft port side. Using Trinity reservations again for $423.00 beautiful new hotel at spring hill suites in Newark room parking and breakfast plus a dedicated suv for just my wife and I round trip. Wonderful as always! Highly recommend as we’ve used them maybe 7 times now including Bayonne and Baltimore plus New York.

Getting onboard timely by 11 am. Enjoyed Osheehans pub for lunch, wings are not great having changed to a baked type but it’s okay. Service was great there and we ate breakfast daily. Each morning I enjoyed the 7 am Freeeeee stretch class with the amazing Daniel, packed classes every day. Very good instructor. Breakfast at 8 in pub quick and efficient not crowded like buffet. Then daily dance fitness class in Bliss lounge with rotating staff. Daniela from Columbia was amazing and great fun teaching us other dancing lessons in atrium too. The reggae band from Jamaica was excellent playing by pool and atrium with tons of dancing opportunities. Also did an ABBA tribute. Sugarcane mojitos bar had a great girl and guy playing Latin music for dancing that we enjoyed every time. Activities staff was excellent including Alvin the cruise director.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Room 13296 balcony aft port. Perfect location 2 floor up buffet. Elevator not far. No smoke issues with smoke stack. Loved hearing music late from Spice H20 even though we stayed until midnight dancing in our room we fell asleep to the distance music.
