We had a wonderful time on the Viking Sky, cruising from Istanbul to Troy, Ephesus, Rhodes, Crete, and ending in Athens. The ship was beautiful, clean, and modern, and never felt crowded, except for a couple of times at breakfast. As we usual for Viking, the food, crew, and onshore tours were excellent. Our best recommendation is that we look forward to our next Viking cruise!

The only negative were horrible Viking-booked flight connections, which had us landing outside Istanbul around 4 pm on a Saturday, resulting in a horrendous 4 hr bus ride which became gridlocked near Galataport, where passport control offices were unstaffed. We barely arrived on the ship in time for last dinner call at 9 pm. The solution? We'd have booked our own flights, and arrived to the ship at the 11 am boarding time on Saturday, and then had the whole day to explore wonderful Istanbul.

Cabin Review

Clean, modern, spacious room with large deck. Couldn't have been better unless it was the owner's suite.
