We had never done a river cruise. We did done land/bus tours a few times. It was so much nicer to unpack once and leisurely wake up in the morning rather than rush through breakfast to get on a bus for many hours. The size of the boat was perfect. I do not think I would like to be on a boat with thousands of people.
The entire trip was down to a science fin every aspect. No hiccups that we could notice. The entire staff was all friendly and really made the trip great. The food was always delicious. It was nice that we got to meet the people in charge. It really made you feel like you were part of the boat family.
The boat was always spotless everywhere!

The airport was very overwhelming to say the least. It was nice that Viking had many representatives on site to guide everyone.
We had a very quick walking tour in the city as we had limited time when we go on the tour.At least we were able to have a quick tour.
