We chose this cruise as it fitted in with our commitments and we had had a good cruise on virtuosa to the canaries at the beginning of may. the package provided good value for money as we had premium drinks and a balcony cabin. we had no problems with the food, drinks or service and the staff were really good. however the entertainment leaves something to be desired. the theatre shows were good but the karaoke leaves much to be desired with a very restricted stock of numbers. They cant tell you what version of a song it is or change the key in which it is sang. These are basics on the cheapest karaoke set up. there is very limited space in this and the other entertainment options for a ship this size, eg, the virtuosa lounge where a decent group were performing most nights.. the overall choice of activities each day was less than on many other cruise lines. what really spoilt this cruise though was the absolute fiasco on the morning of disembarkation. It took three hours and five minutes to get off the ship. the whole process was very poorly planned and disorganised. Very few staff were around to hear the numerous complaints. Ive been on thirteen cruises and managed to leave each other cruise ship in less than thirty minutes. embarkation and shuttle bus transfers also left much to be desired. Never again!

Cabin Review

Comfortable, well appointed and very clean. We had an excellent Room Steward.
