Overall the cruise was good. However we compared this to the Getaway we took in 2019. Ports overall were fine to very good. We didn't do any ship excursions but explored on our own. Entertainment and things to do on ship is why we like NCL. However, guest services lines were long (45-60 minutes to wait to speak with someone). Staff are excellent although there were some hiccups such as on the last night none of our towels were replaced and we had to call for replacement (even though we tipped our room steward extra!). Everyone is working hard to try to make your cruise as good as it can be. Shows were excellent but Syd Norman's disappointed (always packed, and just OK entertainment). Manhattan Room was excellent for dinner and entertainment. Taste and Savor were good, although they missed some orders and food was cold at times. Embarkment was busy but not overly crowded (as expected). Disembarkment was a mess. Long, long, long lines to exit the ship - winding from forward to aft to forward again - at least an hour in line - this needs to be fixed - once we picked up luggage it moved relatively quickly through the exit terminal. After 11+ cruises this was definitely the longest wait for disembarkment. We heard that this cruise was between 75-95% full. It felt completely full as it was hard to get seats in the Atrium, around the pool, etc. Love SpiceH2O as it was never very busy and could always find space to relax. We had a great time but since this was our 2nd NE/Canada cruise will probably be our last.
Cabin was good for inside. Not enough storage. Had to keep clothes in suitcases under bed. No drawers, just shelves and other than the top shelf in the closet (which I couldn't reach) - no room for anything. Hooks on wall and inside bathroom door which helped. Quiet, dark and good sleeping as usual with inside room. Location - forward - was good as well.
