We choose Viking River Cruise on the Danube because of our experience with the Viking River Cruise on the Rhine during Christmas which was fantastic. On the Danube River Cruise, the crew took care of us and exceeded all our expectations. The food was delicious and staff were attentive to our culinary desires. In addition, the bar staff went out of their way to make our cruise memorable. Our cabin was always clean. The excursions were very entertaining, informative and highlighted the history of the cities we visited. The crew were very adaptive to the conditions beyond their control. With the water level low in Regensberg, Viking provided coach service so we able to enjoy Regensberg. Our time on the Egil was very memorable. Every one, including the management staff, were first class. Will definitely book other cruises with Viking. Every staff member on the Egil were genuinely sincere about making our cruise very enjoyable. Their smiles made my day. The program director, Tony, and the hotel manager, Michael, made the cruise very special with the unique talents.
