We chose Carribean Princess as our 14th time sailing on Princesses Cruises. We sailed to celebrate our family's long time reunion due to the Pandamic, to celebrate two anniversaries and a special birthday celebration. Only to discover that Princess post Pandemic could not adequately staff their ship(s) resulting in total disasterous cruise experience, ruining the entire family's vacation! The Indonesian and Philippines staff say they understand English but in reality they do NOT, and they do NOT understand the American way of life! Ex's: asking to replace mattresses resulted in a mattress pad; asking for a glass of sweet wine resulted in showing us Brut champagne; informing that the cabin is too hot the air conditioning not working resulted in please wait in the heat we'll send someone to look at it, or sorry we could not fix it and we don't have another cabin to put you; the mini-fridge did not work in the cabin resulted in the stateroom attendant butting a bucket of ice in the fridge to keep it cool; bathrooms failed to operate around 4-5 AM daily resulting to use the common bathrooms on deck 15; the main dining room had low ceiling and was over packed with people's back of chairs touching each other resulting in the entire family was infected with COVID while onboard! Onboard management promised compensation but nothing was done and the bills were all paid with credit cards that were required to be provided pre-boarding. The bottom line - we sailed on the lowest economical cruise for a full priced fare! Princess is no longer the Princess Cruises we used to sail on...
Our cabins had constant air conditioning problems, some had issues with mattresses, some had issues with bathrooms not working, some had issues with mini-refrigerstors not working and some had hot water running constantly in the sink and in the shower, even if cold faucet was the only one that was opened.
Very nice, all new and people are very friendly.
