We originally booked this cruise in 2019 to go in June 2020. It was cancelled. We took the option to rebook in June 2021 and get 25% cruise credit. It was cancelled. We were determined and actually chose to rebook in June 2022. We got to go. The Crown Princess has a powerplant shut down, so it's operating at 80%. We didn't find out until past the cancellation period. This issue caused them to cancel a port and shorten stops at others. We did not get the full experience, excursions had to be shortened or cancelled, and friends on other cruise lines this week had a much better experience as you can see from the pictures they are posting. We feel conned.

The food in the buffet and dining rooms was bland, repetitive, made from frozen in some cases, and not Alaskan. Some things on the ship were closing when they are open 24 hours on other cruise lines. Desserts on the buffet were running out like toilet paper during a pandemic as soon as they were set out.

Victoria, Canada is sketchy in the evening as indicated by the locals and security guards posted at some restaurants. Shops close early. The ship didn't get there until early evening after most of the sites were closed.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin was cleaned often and bed was comfortable. Nice view from the balcony.
