We chose this cruisetour because we had heard that Princess is the best for Alaska...I find that hard to believe after our experience.

Firstly, the medallion is a good idea but poorly executed. The time you supposedly saved for uploading your documents ahead of time was laughable as the line to get on the boat was at least 2 hours long (not including security and customs). You couldn't use the app on the boat unless you paid for their wifi so that was annoying as you had to look up things on the big screens to find out what was going on. And you couldn't order drinks without the wifi so that is a big miss by princess. I would have gave them more money for drinks if I could have ordered on the app.

This was my 5th cruise (first time on Princess) and it was by far the worst food at sea. The staff had no idea what was going on, but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was one of the first post covid cruises (it seems more like management oversight). The "entertainment" was pretty lame so we stopped going after the first couple shows...There was hardly any announcements to let people know when we were at glaciers and if there was any wildlife around (which there was hardly any). My husband and I took this trip with my parents and my mother has bad knees so she would ask staff where places were so she wouldn't have to walk all over creation and every single time the staff told her the complete opposite direction of the boat. (If they didnt know they should have just said that!!)

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was nice, but we found the bed to be too soft. We asked for robes and they did not fit anyone in our party. Wayyyyy too small.
