We chose this cruise to use credits received for a cruise cancelled mid cruise due to norovirus on the Carribean Princess at the very start of Covid. We enjoyed the cruise except for all the shipboard time trying to get the Medallion (which we loved on other princess cruises) to work. Our dining reservation was lost and and we could not use the medallion to rebook. We ended up with private dining 6 out of 7 nights, the opposite of our original booking. We bought the WIFI pack@ge which did not work most of the cruise despite multiple visits to the wifi desk. We never were able to text home although we could receive texts. Both reservations and wifi were a problem for many many people judging by the lineup for help.
The rest of the cruise was fine and the entertainment was really good IMO. We had a nice unobstructed balcony Rm D333, the ship is in great shape, the food was good and the dining room food was varied and tasty but portions were very small. The Buffett was not fully operational which is surprising considering rumour had it there were 3100 of 3500 guests onboard. The configuration of the upper deck was different from he other princess ships we have been on. Only one outside pool and no place to jog.
If not for the time wasted on wifi and the medallion it would have been a relaxing cruise.
Roomy with a nice little balcony. In really good condition.
