We chose this cruise because we were invited by friends to see the Northern Lights. We had never been to Norway nor on a Viking Ship and had never been on a cold winter cruise. We were ready to cruise again after 2 years of no cruising. Also, Viking made us feel safe by constant testing, masking and a small group. Also felt safer with all immunized people and no children.
The ship was uncrowded, and we never waited in line for anything. The staff was gracious and caring.
My hobby is photography and this cruise was ideal as I was able to get beautiful photos of the Northern Lights and the fiords along the Norwegian coast.
Cabin Review
Our cabin was very comfortable. It was kept very clean. We were happy with the fresh water.
Bathroom floors were warm which was very nice.

We wanted to see the Northern Lights. We were able to do this in Alta. It was very cold but the photo opportunities were fantastic.
