We got in early (10:00am) and had to wait in a tent without bathrooms or chairs. Such is our fault since we had 11:30am arrival. We erred on the side of caution due to L.A. traffic and a 40 mile drive. At 10:30am we were allowed into the terminal and a requested wheel chair for my wife arrived. We are a couple in our 70's accompanied by our adult daughter and our special 9 year old granddaughter. We booked an extra large ocean view cabin. My daughter booked an inside cabin across from ours.

The cabins were not ready until 1:30pm. You could not enter the hallway prior. We stayed on deck and ate at the Mexican taco bar. The tacos were great and a self service salsa bar with guacamole, pico de gallo, etc. was available.

At 1:30pm the cabins were available. Our ocean view cabin was huge. It had a six foot sofa, numerous drawers for storage and an average sized closet and bath. RCL shower stalls have beveled enclosures which avoid shower curtain entanglements. There are no toiletries provided. The shower had a liquid soap/shampoo dispenser. The sink had a wafer thin face soap. We prepared for such by bringing our own soap bar and shampoo.

Cabin Review

Biggest Ocean View cabin without a balcony I have stayed in. Over 200 square feet. Bathroom is small and no toiletries provided. Shower enclosure is a plus. It had a six foot sofa.
