I have been sailing MSC cruise line lately and got accustomed to that "European" kind and friendly crew. Princess was somewhat less social and not nearly as friendly. They were not unkind or unpleasant, don't misunderstand. I think I am just spoiled from MSC.
I was banned from the dining room, even on the casual days, due to my failure to pack long pants. I had my new Bermuda shorts and Princess golf shirt with my Platinum pin on the collar and yet I was apparently "not presentable" to them......but, the good part of that was I was related to the Market Place buffet.
Their buffet was great ! It was superior to my MSC buffet. The selections were many and varied from day to day and generally better prepared although again too often over cooked and thus tending to dry out the fish and meats. But all in all I really enjoyed dining there.
Very nice, A balcony excellent location on the 14th deck aft with immediate access to stairway and elevators and one flight up to the buffet. The cabin guy was perfect.......friendly and efficient....
Just a tourist "trap" stop.....the "wrong" docking of the two at Cozumel.
It was a nice beach
