I chose this cruise because I had never been on a Princess cruise. The fare was decently priced, but they nickel and dime you for everything and blatantly throw it in your face that the casino games are rigged in their favor. The food is mediocre and the drinks are weak. I would not recommend or return to this cruise line. The entertainment onboard isn’t that great and the shows are cheesy. Nobody seems to be able to do things in a timely or correct manner, most likely due to poor training. I’ve been on over 20 cruises on many different cruise lines and this line is my least favorite. I would even choose Carnival cruise line over this one. If you can flag down a staff member to get a drink, be prepared to wait over 20 minutes to get it, even if the area is empty. The staff likes to huddle together and talk with each other instead of focusing on guests. The coffee bar is the worst, the don’t know how to make drinks properly and never have ice. Overall this was a poorly run cruise ship.
