I recently went on a cruise on carnival breeze. many people thought it was a great cruise, but i have to say that i was very disappointed. I’ve only been on three carnival cruises, magic, liberty and the breeze. Of the three the breeze cruise was disappointing. There were some good things about the cruise, however i’m going to mention the things that i felt was bad and disappointing. to start, i have to say the boarding experience was great and without stress. Very fast and efficient . The good ended there. We were told we could put our carry on luggage in our staterooms as soon as we boarded.( not to use the room, but to store luggage ). The crew on the breeze thought otherwise and had the hallways locked. the next bad event was when i checked with the dining room about my early dining table assignment. the gave us a table squeezed between two large tables and against the waiters station. I asked for a different table , possibly closer to the window. i was told there were none available. That night while dining service was extremely slow, and we were seated by a table of 12 with 4 unsupervised kids that were throwing food and running around like little animals. we finished dinner after two hours of dealing with poor service and this mess beside us.

As for the cruise director, many are crazy about him, but i was not so impressed. the show entertainment was very lacking. The scheduling/ times was such that it prevented early or late diners from being able to get to a show in time for good seating. the shows as well as events in the theater were cancelled and disrupted by constant equipment failures. as for the director cookie, many thought he was great, but i did not. He continued to push his gender problem on the guest and many times had physical contact with the participents. his organization skills leaves a lot to be desired as well as his handaling of the debarking of the ship. He had people piled up on ship while the port checkout was verturally empty. cookie was his own biggest fan from his presence on stage and throughout the ship.

I also felt the food quality was not to the quality of previous cruises. The placement of the food at different buffet areas created people backed up clear into the pool area from the buffet inside. Read more
