We chose this 7 day cruise to try out Princess again after sailing many years with Holland America Line.

HAL has decided to remove their Big Production Shows and replace them with BBC Earth and we have found it not fulfilling enough, especially while being on a 36 day cruise not knowing ahead of time about the cancellation of the shows. Having a movie of a musical in the big theatre just doesn't cut it We were blown away with the activities and entertainment on Princess.

Princess also has Medallian Class on some of their ships. It is an incredible device that you wear instead of carrying a room card. You download the Medallian app for check in, order drinks or a meal from it and a server will find you. Also as you approach your cabin your door will unlock and lock when you walk away. Read more
