Just off the Equinox Western Carib. seven day cruise to Key West, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Our 20th Cruise and by far one of the best. Embarkation was a breeze and we were on the ship 10 minutes after our scheduled arrival time. Staff as professional as always and willing to help in every situation. Cruise Director Dan France was the best we have seen. He was very visible, always smiling, very funny and accommodating. The in house entertainment was great. The Comedians were both very funny. The Liverpool Legends put on a great show and did an encore performance at the pool the next day. Always something going on any time of day from the entertainment department. Captain Tasos was the most visible we have ever seen. He was even in the pool playing volleyball against the guests. Service in the dining room was on par however food never arrived hot. One night my wife asked for a risotto dinner to be placed in the middle of the table to be shared and was told only after her completing her lobster dinner would the risotto be served. Menus seemed repetitive. We chose Select dining however upon entering out cabin there was a letter stating we should arrive after 8pm to avoid a long wait for a table. We went to the dining room and changed to the 8:30 seating and were assigned a wonderful table next to the wine tower. Dinner at the Tuscan Grill was excellent as was the service. Our balcony cabin was clean and well kept. Upgraded pillows and mattress is a wonderful improvement and offered a good night sleep. Room service was on time and good. My only problem with Celebrity is their dress code. Guests in the dining room for dinner with baseball caps, tee shirts and cheap jeans is not my idea of evening chic. There is a big difference between designer jeans and Lee or Levi brands. Nothing ever said to them. We have not witnessed this on longer Celebrity Cruises we have been on where guests seem to be very different. Overall a good time. We also booked a 12 day Southern Caribbean while on board due to the excellent perks that were offered.
