We choose this ship for the cost and ports. So after checking in the staff forgot to give us a boarding number so we sat even longer to board the ship. The ship was beautiful, rooms was pretty small compared to other ships we've been on. The hallways and water smelled like sewer. Housekeeping was ok we had to get our own daily activities information packet each night. Housekeeping didn't replace toilet paper so we ran out. Food was ok such a large ship to not offer lunch in the dining room forced everyone to eat at the lido deck. So that was always crazy busy. I was impressed that they had sinks to actually wash hands. The shows was ok as well. I was expecting more for the shows as the msc devina had amazing shows so it was disappointing. We paid for the specialty show and that's more than disappointing and a waste of money. You had to register a credit card to your cabin which was fine but you had to set a certain amount to cover possible future cost. We didn't realize that the last day if you had a credit you had to go to the desk and get your unused credit in cash. So as our trip was over getting off the ship we lost credit amount rather than msc crediting your credit card. The ship has NO atm you could get a cash advance at the service desk for a 15% fee. The gym is ridiculously small for the amount of people. The best part of our trip was the ports. Dinner service was not the greatest as the waiters wasn't the friendliest. Dont think about going to the service desk it had a long line the whole trip. If it wasn't for that long line I would've requested half of our gratuity back due to such poor service. Not sure if I'll take MSC cruise line again, if I do it would have to be for the ports again.
