First time doing a 7 week cruise and had heard great things about NCL. Wow was that the furthest thing from the truth. Before we even boarded the ship we received an email from our travel agent the day before with this:

"Costco Travel received the following information in regards to your Norwegian Star sailing November 24, 2019

Due to a full immigration inspection, check-in for Norwegian Joy's sailing on November 24th has been delayed and will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the ship's new departure time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Please arrive at the pier during the new check-in hours. "
