  • Cabin Type: Ocean View Balcony

I've been on a lot of cruise with different cruise lines but this is the best, so far. Was on the ship eating lunch at 11:00 even though cabins weren't ready till 1:00.

Ship is enormous with over 5500 passengers but it didn't seem crowded.

We had a balcony cabin that was ocean view.

Crew was very friendly. No issues with any member.

Only saw the cruise director 1 time and that was at an evening show.

Entertainment was very good..

The private island in Haiti owned by Royal Caribbean was a nice surprise. Food was free, beach was nice and they accepted your sail pass card.

The newest perk that I was not aware of was the luggage valet service. For $25 they took your luggage, and sent it to the airport, it was loaded on the plane and we picked it up at our destination. Plus they got our boarding passes including Southwest air. No hunting for baggage at the pier and dragging it to the transfer to the airport.

So with no baggage, we just exited the ship early and took the airport transfer.

Royal Caribbean has seemed to fix all of the flaws on previous cruises.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

very nice balcony cabin in the rear of the ship in deck 9.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

St. Maarten

Went to a beach just off the ship without an excursion. 2 beach chairs and and umbrella with a bucket of beer for $25. Water was very nice. Took a water taxi round trip for $7.

Labadee is a private island or peninsula owned and operated by Royal Caribbean. 3 beaches there with lots of chairs, bars and food. It was refreshing! If you have the beverage package there is no charge for alcohol, same as on the ship. Lunch was included.
