This was our second NCl mediterranean cruise in as many years, previously on the Spirit in 2017. The ship is very much like the Spirit, slightly bigger, nicer cabins, more formal ( no quick bite/drink location). Boarding was quick and easy, though the boarding location really needs improving, it was raining and people were getting wet and having to walk though puddles to board. Our cabin 5094 was modern, usb plugs, lcd tv on moveable wall mount, lots of storage, why does the toilet have an ashtray? Only compliant was the hot water would fade in and out during a shower, annoying. Our room steward, Jessie, was one of the best we've had in our eight cruises. We had both the liquor package and speciality dining packages, due to early booking. We used three of the speciality dining rooms, Cagney's, excellent, Le Bistro, below average and Moderno, good, just don't fill up on the salad bar. Liquor package was fine in that you never had to sign a bill and they keep pouring the wine while at dinner. The regular dining spots were typical of all cruise ships, noisy and food not always as hot as it should be. Didn't like that they didn't have a quick little spot, like the Spirit had for after tour food. Never be fooled by their idea of hot and spicy foods. The ports visited, you can look they up, were nice, but tendering is an issue. If you were on a NCL tour you got off easily, if however you were just walking off, well be prepared to get up early to get a ticket for a decent tendering time, was I not on a holiday? Entertainment is typical cruise ship quality, some great some boring. The crew, we had a few that were lousy at their jobs, one that was great and the rest ok. I like the eat anytime dining, but you don't get the same level of service from the wait staff as if you ate with them through out the cruise. Disembarkation was easy, we had a 7:40AM colour and were called early, an hour later we were at the Rome airport.

A couple of other things, docking was exceptionally quiet, tendering is off the starboard side, so we could hear some noise in the morning, that was our cabin location, otherwise very quiet cabin. We had a leak in the hallway outside our cabin, they kept trying to fix it, however the smell of mould was there, even as the had the big carpet dryers running.
