Seeing the Scandinavian countries was pure delight, from Copenhagen, to the train tour over the highlands of Sweden back to Oslo. It was a perfect journey!
From the very beginning of our Viking experience, we had excellent service. Airport transfers to our pre and post-excursion hotels were smooth and perfect. Hotels were well selected, with very nice rooms, centrally located in walking distance to many cultural activities.
All the staff were SO hospitable, from servers, housekeeping staff, security, to musicians and bartenders. It was a totally wonderful trip from start to finish.
Cabin Review
On ship, our penthouse veranda was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed many hours on our cruise, watching the scenery roll past, and watching the docking/dockside maneuvers at each port of call. It was just a quick stairway up to the Aquavit Terrace for coffee, snacks, meals, or topside view of our journey.
Our housekeeping team was efficient and friendly. The included room service was a special touch of luxury. Having a pot of coffee to enjoy on our veranda each morning was delightful.
