We love NCL but this was not our favorite ship. The good: the staff was wonderful. The entertainment was really good. Choir of Man was awesome! I loved the Wine Lovers Musical. A fun experience. The food in the Manhattan Room and Taste and Savor was really good. The ropes course and mini golf were really fun as well. The rooms; The rooms were nice. The bathroom was the biggest we have had on a cruise. (balcony room). Drawback: the closet was in a weird spot. It was hard to access by the couch. The couch was also very uncomfortable. Not so good: the smoke smell was horrible in the stairwell with the chandelier, Headliners Comedy Club, the art hallway, and sometimes the atrium. We left Dueling Pianos because it was pretty strong. Embarkation and Debarkation was crazy. I realize the hurricane created a delay. Embarkation: The issue was the person on the overhead system gave one direction and the workers were telling us something different. People were confused. Debarkation: the area where you exit and catch the buses was jam packed. A lady who worked there was yelling at us because we weren't moving. We couldn't move because it was a tiny area and way too many people. We were following an excursion line for NYC. The excursion lady disappeared and we were left in the luggage area with no clue what to do. It was really chaotic.

The park is beautiful. The driver was very knowledgeable and nice. We really wanted to do some hiking but couldn't find an excursion that offered that. Bus tour was okay.

Karl was awesome! Our tour was in a jeep. He took us to the opposite order of the tour buses to avoid congestion. Peggy's Cove was a bit busy though. We went to some fishing villages and some lighthouses. One was a hike to a lighthouse. So quiet- no people. He also showed us some of the hurricane damage. He recommended Rhubarb restaurant that he goes to and he made reservations for us and suggested food and wine. It was yummy! We loved the private tour and he was so friendly and knowledgeable.

It was okay. Tour guide was excellent. We stopped at a park to view the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and go to the restrooms and also at the 9/11 Memorial. The rest of the time was trying to quick look down this street or that street as we drove by really quickly. Missed stuff because couldn't see out other side of bus really well. The tour guide did give us lots of information though which was nice.

This was excellent! Our favorite excursion. The bike ride was through town, over a few bridges and to an island. We hiked 1.5 miles on the island. It was beautiful! The tour guides were awesome!

It was the Top 10 tour. The tour guide was awesome. So friendly and funny. It made for a long day though - about a 7 hr. tour. The reversing rapids was pretty cool.
