Wonderful ship with a fantastic crew. All the crew was friendly. Enjoyed the food especially The Local. Harold Hough (asst maitre d), the chef and servers made us feel like a part of the family. We also tried the specialty dining and the dining rooms but we always found ourselves headed back to the Local. On board entertainment was continual and enjoyable from the Footloose musical production to the pianist to the activities of the cruise director's staff. Scenery and excursions very memorable. The transfer vehicles were handicap friendly. Room and steward were marvelous. Loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the glaciers and wildlife. If you want to have a fantastic time and see beautiful Alaska the Norwegian Joy is the way to go.
Getting on and off the ship was so very easy the people who helped with the wheelchair were very nice. We tried the new valet baggage at the end of the cruise enjoyed that also.
Very clean. Beautiful views from the balcony. Steward always kept everything emmaculate. Loved the shower.
Shopped and ate crab at Tracy's
Part of us walked the trails while others stayed on the ship.
Spent the night before embarkation at the Marriott Waterfront
