Chose cruise as Celebrity cruises were recommended by other guests on other cruise company ships. Had 2 x S1 suites for 5 people. These are small compared to suites on other ships such as MSC yacht club, NCL Haven, Queens grill Cunard or Grand suite on RCL. Very poor value for money! Luminae restaurant closes really early for breakfast. It is barely open for lunch and has a very limited food choice, with little flexibility from evening menu. Ate at Blu a couple of times because of this which is poor! Tried le petit chef, got animation wrong way around which ruined an expensive experience. Room service menu poor and butler service very poor. Should offer MDR menu to suites as room service in evening! Butler At times did not answer phone at all and take an hour to deliver anything to your room, for ours and the other room! Food in MDR had more choice but was served luke warm and service not very good. Acrobatic shows good but not enough variety in entertainment. Retreat deck good, but lacked atmosphere at times. Internet connection was not very good at times. Overall not good value for money and would not sail celebrity edge again. Prefer NCL Haven for better service, larger rooms, better suite restaurant and food choice.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite

Cabin S1

Had 2 S1 suites for 5 people. Cabin clean but very small for price and suite class. Balcony not very big for price. Get better value for money on other cruise ships. Choice of food in Luminae very poor, could not accommodate for non fish eating guests easily. Breakfast closed very early on some days. Blu had more food choice but still limited compared to MDR. MDR food was not as high a standard as Luminae or Blu. Room service menu limited. Should offer main dining room menu in room service for suite guests in evening. Le petit chef animation was done wrong way around which ruined an expensive experience. Prefer RCL or NCL suite class rooms, service to Celebrity Edge. The ship lacked bringing people together unlike other cruises.
