My wife and I cruise extensively. We love Celebrity ships for service at par with 6 stars luxury cruises. Smart ship design with multiple areas where one can enjoy smooth music, drink, conversation is another undeniable attribute of all Celbrity ships.
Edge managed to lack all the above.
Service in all public areas is below average.
Cabin Review
Edge Veranda Stateroom
CABIN. We decided to book infinity room based on description on Celebrity site. This is the most non-functional poorly conceived design one can imagine. It is pretty much expensive ocean view cabin. If window is open room temperature immediately equalize with one outside. Shutters planned to isolate room from “ opened” balcony do not provide one. In order to close the metal drape to darken the room requires chairs to be moved inside of the cabin.
Nightstands are very small ( size of shoebox) with a half of the surface occupied by standing lamp. One of them deemed unusable completely by the room phone.
In bathroom long sink eliminate most of the vanity surface.
Wardrobe has no room even for cloth, obviously forget about placing suitcase there.
