We had not sailed on this class of ship before nor been on this itinerary so we were very excited.

Embarkation was a breeze. Our boarding window was 12 - 12:30 PM. We walked up at 12:01 and were on the ship within 15 minutes. Debarkation was the opposite, however. It took us 6 hours to get from state room to the sidewalk. We were given a few explanations but the most common one was that CBP computers went down. This was not Carnival's fault but certainly was not pleasant.

We really enjoyed this ship. I've seen reviews of horrible lines and poor service and we didn't experience any of that. Our room steward was excellent and we had no complaints whatsoever. Lines for things like Lido buffet and pizza were longer at peak times but that is to be expected. And they moved quickly, in my opinion. We showed up 10 minutes early to shows and activities and had no issues finding seats/participating. I agree that some seats in the Liquid Lounge are poor because of the pillars that block the view.

We enjoyed this cabin location. It was centrally located and was an easy starting point for anywhere on the ship. The room was well equipped, clean, and quiet. There were 2 twin beds that we put together. There was also a sofa bed. The sofa bed wasn't as comfortable as the twin beds but was still sufficient.
