Took this cruise with my daughter-in-law for some fun and relaxation. We couldn't get on the this until 4 P.M. due to the fact of the ship repositioning from Miami, but no problem we just did some fun things in Ft. Lauderdale until time to board. Right onto the ship, right to the cabin. We upgraded to a balcony two days before sailing and everything was switch but a few items, but our cabin steward, K2, fixed these thing quickly. Room was always kept clean. We only got the evening turndown service which worked fine.
I really don't know why so many people complain about the food. I have been on many cruises and the food in the MDR was the best I have ever had. There are plenty of places to eat and we went to evening meal at the MDR everynight. We had a great table lots of fun. Our waiters really knew how to dance.
The shows were great. The only thing I can say is the seats in the balcony are very close and if you have bad knees, like me, set on the main floor or ouch.
The cabin did have a little sewer smell when we first entered. I think it must of been from the holding tank being cleaned at port, but it went away by that evening. We used the balcony every day and really enjoyed the sunrises. We saw the sunset every evening while at dinner. Just beautiful
Took the Outback Adventure and had a blast. Seeing how the people in the villages live is an eye opener. I took some dog bones to give to stray dogs and all but one didn't know what to do with the bones. So sad. The children were so cute and if you buy the outback shirts part of the money goes to the school to help the children with uniforms. I would highly recommend this tour.
Beautiful water. Sand is really soft, so hard to walk on, but once you are in the water you forget all about it. The buffet lunch is wonderful.
